Fanwork Policy

I love seeing the different fanworks and other that people create, however, I ask that creators follow the guidelines in this policy. If you have further questions please feel free to ask away.


Strictly Prohibited

  • Promotion of hate speech or bigotry. I do not condone my characters or artwork being used to shock, harm, or offend in any capacity.
  • Redistribution of my work for commercial use. It is prohibited to copy, sell, or distribute my artwork as a product or merchandise for any reason.
    • This does not include use of official artwork as part of transformative works such as reviews or YouTube thumbnails.
  • Mass-produced merchandise of my characters.
  • Usage of my art to train AI, or to distribute or selling the materials that AI has learned from.
  • Creation of character chatbots or other generative AI using my characters or their likeness.

Works that do not fall under prohibited categories are permitted on a case by case basis. See below for details.

Reposts and sharing

  • Please link back to my website whenever possible
  • Redistribution of unmodified artwork is prohibited on platforms where I have an existing account. Instead, please share utilizing the platform's built in reblog/retweet/repost function.
    • If an account does not exist, reuploading with clear credit is permitted. You can view my socials here.
  • Use of unmodified artwork and in-game art as profile pictures/icons/avatars and banner images is permitted.
    • Use of unmodified artwork in unrelated games (such as using an illustration as a poster in The Sims) is permitted.
  • Printing of existing official artwork for personal, non-commercial use is permitted

Fanworks

  • Feel free to stream, liveblog, and share clips of the game on your channels and social media! (See the streaming policy for more information)
  • Cosplays of my characters are A-OK
    • Old/scrapped forms are perfectly fine to cosplay, just understand I do not have design sheets available for you to reference.
  • Fanworks such as illustrations and fanfiction that does not fall under the prohibited category is generally allowed. Feel free to tag my socials if you would like me to share it.
    • Fan designs, fan characters, and reimaginings are permitted, as long as they do not fall under prohibited categories.
    • Sharing and creation of custom content for unrelated projects, such as character skins for other games, is permitted for non-commercial use. Please do not sell skins or custom content created of my characters for profit.
    • Be mindful if creating R18 work. Adult fanworks should be limited to characters that are 18 and older. Please do not create or tag/send me in erotic fanwork of underaged characters/characters in their underaged designs. Please do not create erotic art of characters without official adult designs.
      • Please tag appropriately/censor as needed, and refrain from sharing erotic fanwork in SFW spaces such as the discord server or general tags. Understand that while Magical Warrior Diamond Heart is recommended ages 17+, it is not an "adults only" game and as such, I will not be sharing R18 fanart on my project's socials.
  • Commercial fanwork:
    • Merch such as prints, pins, stickers, and charms using my characters is permitted as long as it is using custom fan created artwork.
    • Hand-made fan merch, such as hand sewn plushies or knitted apparel is permitted
    • It's perfectly fine to take commissions of my characters or request other artists to create art of my characters, just please keep in mind both mine and any potential artist's policies when seeking out art.
